The Farm To Table Project
We believe in Culebra’s potential to grow the next generation of farmers, chefs, artisans, and community leaders. Through our Farm to Table Project, we are planting the seeds of knowledge, providing youth with hands-on opportunities to learn essential skills— from farming and harvesting to food preservation and culinary arts.
This immersive experience allows students to reconnect with nature, care for livestock, nurture plants, and pick fresh produce directly from the farm. They’ll then discover the joy of transforming these ingredients into delicious, healthy meals— learning how to cook, plate, and share food in a way that brings people together.
Our mission goes beyond education. We aim to empower children and their families to make informed, healthy food choices while gaining access to locally grown, nutritious foods. Through this, we’re not only cultivating healthier habits but also strengthening Culebra’s local economy, fostering community, and creating a brighter, more vibrant future for the island.
